Kelly is a native of Fairmont, West Virginia, and a 1989 graduate of East Fairmont High School.
She began working part-time for Rose Padden & Petty, PLLC, in 1992 until she started her family in 1994. In 2002, she returned to the firm as an Executive Legal Assistant until her employment with Funkhouser & Smith PLLC in April, 2019.
Kelly has two daughters, MacKenzie and Katheryn, and a grandson, Kannon Lee.
